MINUTES FROM THE JULY 15, 2002 MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION

The Hamburg Planning Commission met this evening in the Council Chambers of the Hamburg Municipal Center with Chairman Leon Balthaser presiding. The meeting was called to order at 7:18 p.m.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Leon A. Balthaser, George E. Confer, Charles Cuthbert, Diana L. Edwards

MEMBERS ABSENT: Bryon S. Ruhl, Hank J. Clarke

ALSO PRESENT: Roy R. Heffner-Councilman, John Leonforte-Zoning Officer, Denise L. Clare-Secretary

VISITORS

None

NEW BUSINESS

The Fred Sheeler and Grayson Weidman special exception applications were reviewed. Both are seeking to put a commercial use in a residential building. John Leonforte stated that neither application poses any problems and both have adequate parking.

A motion was made by Diana Edwards and seconded by George Confer to recommend to the Zoning Hearing Board that both applications be approved and that the Planning Commission has no problems.

OLD BUSINESS

Diana Edwards stated that the next regional planning meeting is September 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hamburg Municipal Center.

Diana Edwards asked if anyone from the Planning Commission needs to attend the Zoning Hearing Board meeting on Thursday. John Leonforte stated that the recommendation made covers that.

There being no further business, and on motion of Chuck Cuthbert seconded by George Confer to adjourn the meeting at 7:29 p.m.
