MINUTES FROM THE SPECIAL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 22, 2005

The Hamburg Borough Council held a special meeting this afternoon in the Hamburg Municipal Center, with Tammy Wilkinson, Council Vice-President, presiding. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss an incident involving a borough personnel and the potential for litigation.

Members present: Tammy Wilkinson, Chuck Figard, Jeanette Heckman, Dale Schlenker and Martha Bertolet

Members absent: Adam Dries, Tina Yoder

Also present: Attorney Allen Shollenberger (6:00 p.m.), Chief Michael Painter, Mayor Del Rosario and Lynda Albright, Borough Manager

Visitors: Moises Arce and Marissa Arce

The meeting was scheduled to commence at 5:00 p.m., however, due to the detainment of Solicitor Shollenberger, the meeting was called to order at 5:35 p.m. and immediately went into executive session.

As Solicitor Shollenberger was still detained, the executive session was held utilizing Solicitor Speicher via phone.

The meeting reconvened at 6:08 p.m.

The personnel matter has been referred to both Solicitor’s John Speicher and Allen Shollenberger.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned on motion of Dale Schlenker and seconded by Jeanette Heckman.
