NORTH BERKS RECREATION COMMISSION The Schuylkill River Greenway Association and the North Berks Recreation Commission are planning proposed recreational facilities utilizing the desilting basin and other Commonwealth owned land in the vicinity of the Kernsville Dam. The study area includes the Boroughs of Hamburg, Strausstown and Shoemakersville and the Townships of Upper Tulpehocken, Upper Bern, Tilden, Windsor and Perry as well as the Hamburg Area School District.
