ST. MARY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH

The parish was established in 1854 by Saint John Neumann, then the Bishop of Philadelphia. Bishop Neumann blessed the original church, located on State Street in Hamburg. On December 8, 2000, a new church was dedicated, located off Old Route 22 on Walnut Road in Tilden Township, west of the borough.

Numerous artifacts taken from the old church have been incorporated into the new church.

With over 600 families, the parish is one of the largest territorial parishes in the Diocese of Allentown, covering over 200 square miles. Rev. Donald W. Cieniewicz is Pastor of the parish. The Parish Office is located in the church at: 94 Walnut Road/PO Box 189 Hamburg, PA 19526-0189 Phone: 610-562-7657
