RECYCLING COLLECTION INFORMATION
First and Third TUESDAY of the Month
Aluminum cans (cleaned out, labels may be left on)
Glass jars or bottles (cleaned out, labels may be left on)
Tin cans (cleaned out, labels may be left on)
Plastics numbered 1, 2, 3, and 7 only (rinsed out, lids removed)
Second and Fourth TUESDAY of the Month
Newspapers and Magazines (tied or placed in paper bags)
Corrugated Cardboard (flattened for handling purposes)
*Does not include soap boxes, diaper boxes, pizza boxes, cereal boxes, or other
packaged food boxes.
*Whenever a fifth TUESDAY falls within a month, there will be no recycling
collection that week.

Residents are reminded that there is a four (4) bag limit per household. Also,
trash is not to be placed out for collection earlier than 6pm the evening before
the scheduled collection date.
Bulk Item Program
Residents have the opportunity to have one (1) bulk item collected once a month. Bulk items will be collected along with normal trash collection the second full week of every month.
*The maximum weight of any bulk item shall be seventy five (75) pounds.
Bulk items include items such as furniture and toys. Lumber will be taken, however, it
must be bundled and tied, with a maximum size of thirty six by eighteen by eighteen
inches (36"X 18"X 18").
Automotive parts, tires, household appliances, water heaters, computers, air conditioners,
concrete/brick, along with toxic and hazardous waste materials, including car batteries,
gasoline, motor oil, and pesticides will not be collected.
DUE TO THE COVERED DEVICE RECYCLING ACT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL NOT
BE TAKEN AS BULK AS OF JANUARY 24, 2013: DESKTOP COMPUTERS, LAPTOP COMPUTERS, PERIPHERALS, MONITORS AND TELEVISIONS.
